Kent Redding is a Texas native who has called Austin home for more than 40 years. With over two decades in real estate, he has become one of the most respected names in the Westlake and greater Austin market, known for his steady leadership, deep market knowledge, and long-standing commitment to both clients and the real estate industry.
A licensed broker and active member of the Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR) since 2003, Kent has served in numerous leadership roles throughout his career. After serving five years as an ABoR Director, he was elected 2024 President of the Austin Board of REALTORS®, helping guide one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® associations through a rapidly evolving housing market. In 2025, he was honored with the Austin Board of REALTORS® Industry Award for Realtor® of the Year, recognizing his leadership, professionalism, and lasting contributions to the Central Texas real estate community.
Throughout his career, Kent has served on a wide range of committees including the MLS Compliance Committee, Legislative Management Team, Audit Committee, and Governing Policy Committee, where he served as Chair in 2023. At the state level, he has also contributed through the Texas REALTORS® Member Benefits Committee and Professional Standards Committee.
Kent has spent more than 20 years with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Texas Realty, earning numerous national recognitions and industry awards along the way. He holds multiple professional designations including GRI, CRS, ABR, ePro, MRP, and CLHMS, and was recognized as a Platinum Top 50 winner for ten consecutive years.
Known for combining strategic guidance with a calm, relationship-driven approach, Kent works across a wide range of property types and price points throughout Central Texas. His business has been built largely through referrals, long-term relationships, and a reputation for thoughtful representation.
Outside of real estate, Kent remains deeply committed to community involvement and service. He volunteers with Community First! Village, supports Hungry Souls in providing meals to food-insecure children, and works alongside organizations like Red Oak Hope, which supports survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation in Central Texas.
