Cinco de Mayo won't be the same this year without the big parties and social gatherings but with a little help from our friends, we're bringing the party home!

Local restaurants are cooking up our favorite dishes for take-out, creating cocktail kits, and hosting virtual fiestas.

There is no shortage of great Mexican food and cocktails in Austin. Here we'll highlight the best and some of our favorites too! 

1. ATX Cocina 

Pick up "Meals and Margs on the Go" from their curbside menu. Includes guest favorites such as the sopes, queso fundido, al pastor tacos, carne asada and seafood offerings. Their Margarita Kit allows customers to create the beloved Margaritas de la Casa in their own home. Available Monday - Saturday from 4-8 p.m.  Orders can be placed online or by calling (512) 263-2322.

2. The Peached Tortilla

 Family Meals featuring your choice of tacos, coconut cardamom rice, Japanese street corn, chips and guacamole for $65 via Curbside only. Don't forget your favorite MARGARITA DE PEACHED KIT (serves 8) 50 tequila (375 ml), spicy margarita mix, habanero salt, lime $50 ... just the margarita de peached mix for $20.

3. El Alma

Cinco De Mayo En Casa Kit + Margarita Mixes & Full Family Meal options. Call in or order online. 

4. Tacodeli 

Take out & Curbside Pick Up available through call in and online ordering, every day 7am-8pm. Delivery is also available through Favor.

5. El Chilito 

Family Taco Night package feeds 4-6 people and includes 2 pounds of your choice of filling, warm flour or corn tortillas, white rice, black beans, pico de gallo, onions and cilantro. The Manor and 7th Street locations are also offering beer by the can or 6-pack, plus frozen sangria to-go. All locations  serve their full menu with online ordering for pickup or delivery daily from 8am to 8pm.

In addition to great eats around town, Republic Square will host it's first Virtual Cinco de Mayo with an all-day online fiesta!
