• Keep it Simple - think natural and subdued. Choose fixtures and textures that aren't too loud.
• Avoid Extreme - pass on custom updates, try to appeal to the masses if you're upgrading for re-sale.
• Go for Granite - buyers want to see granite counter tops. We hear it time and time again. Can't do granite? Go for pulverized quartz ;)
